The OSSC CTSRE Eligibility Criteria
Maximum age of 38 years and Minimum age of 21 years as of January 1, 2023.
Educational Qualifications:
- Junior Mining Officer: Mining Engineering, 2nd Class Diploma.
- Junior MVI: Mechanical or Automotive Engineering Diploma.
- Mechanical Engineering Diploma for Junior Engineers.
- Civil Engineering Junior Engineer: Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Tracer: NTC/ITI in the Fitter Trade.
- ITI/NTC in Fitter/Turner Trade as Laboratory Assistant.
- Civil Engineering Junior Engineer: Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Other Eligibility:
- Candidates for the aforementioned position must be Indian citizens, of strong moral character, excellent physical health, and free from any physical or organic flaws. If married, you can’t have more than one surviving spouse. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Odia is required.
- Must have passed the Middle School Examination in Odia as a language, the I-ISC Examination, or a comparable exam in a subject other than language that was administered in Odia.
- Must have graduated from a school or educational institution approved by the Central Government and the Government of Odisha with a linguistic proficiency in Odia for the final exam of Class VII or above.
- A test in Middle English School standards administered by the Government of Odisha’s School and Mass Education Department must have been passed.
