Qualifications for NARL Recruitment:
Engineer/scientist “SD”:
One doctorate in physics, atmospheric science, meteorology, or earth science.
(2) With a minimum cumulative GPA of 60%, ME, MTech, MSc (Engineering), MS, or an equivalent.
(3) A minimum cumulative grade of 65% for a B.E., BTech, or BSc. in engineering, or an equivalent degree.
Junior Researcher Fellow (JRF):
A first-class or equivalent CGPA grade in any of the following subjects, as declared by the university, for a post-graduate degree in Earth System Sciences, Physics, Atmospheric Science, Space Physics, Meteorology, Applied Chemistry, or Geophysics, or an equivalent degree with these subjects as core subjects. (OR) Any concentration in the fields of instrumentation, optical, photonics, communication, electronics, or photonics.
(2) Eligible for JAM, JEST, GATE, CSIR-UGC NET.
The age limit for NARL recruitment is:
Scientist / Engineer ‘SD’: Maximum 35 years
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Preferably 28 years

NARL Recruitment Salary:
“SD” Scientist/Engineer: Level-11 ₹ 67700 – 208700/- (Basic Pay ₹ 67700/- Per Month).
Junior Investigator (JRF): First and second-year tuition is ₹37,000; subsequent years are ₹42,000 per month.
