As the episode begins, Yuji and Todo are avoiding multiple curses from Mahito. Mahito yells to Yuji as they proceed, telling him that this will be their final time cursing each other.
Mahito keeps splintering his body into more and more pieces, making it difficult for Yuji and Todo to strike him clean. Then, to divert Todo’s attention from Yuji, he releases a human who has been altered. Two other transfigured humans appear as Todo defeats the first one.
Now that Todo is gone, Mahito attacks Yuji with everything he owns. Yuji reacts in kind, moving in Mahito’s direction while hurling building debris with all of his strength.
