Educational Qualification:
Mining Overman: a full-time, conventional mining diploma from an accredited school with a minimum grade point average of 60%.
Mechanical Supervisor: a full-time, regular diploma from an accredited institution with a minimum of 60% in mechanical or production engineering.
A full-time, regular Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from an accredited school with at least 60%
A minimum of 60% in a diploma program in mechanical, electrical, or mining engineering from an institution recognized by the federal government is required for employment as a vocational training instructor.
Junior Mine Surveyor: full-time, regular diplomas with a minimum of 60% in mining survey, mining engineering, mining, and mine surveying, or civil engineering from recognized universities.
A Matric 10th pass from an approved board and a current Mining Sirdar certificate of competence for coal issued by the DGMS are prerequisites for becoming a Mining Sirdar.
Age Limit:
As of the online application deadline, the applicant’s maximum age should be thirty (30).
The NTPC Recruitment 2023 Selection Process
According to the official NTPC Recruitment 2023 announcement, candidates will be chosen through a written exam and a skill test.
Written Test: The first step will involve giving a written test with a 100-mark maximum score. There will be multiple-choice questions on pertinent discipline and topic topics in the test. The exam can go up to 120 minutes at most.
Test of Skill and Competence: A 100-mark test of skill and competency in the appropriate field will be administered. For candidates in the General/EWS category, the qualifying score is 40%, while for those in the SC/ST/OBC category, it is 30%.
